    Thoughts on trade routes

    I'm new to anno and feel that a few changes to the trade route system could be interesting.

    1. An option to run a route for a specific number of times. This could help with getting construction materials to a new island (or for trading with AI) without having to manually take the materials there. You can use an ongoing trade route with a reserve on the items but I frequently forget to stop it and I then have a ship that wasn't being fully utilized for a while.

    2. An improved wait for items/wait to unload feature that allows ships to wait nearby the city instead of taking up a pier while waiting. I've attempted to use the wait feature for new world trade routes to maximize the gain from such a long trip but I've noticed the piers will have ships waiting too long and holding up other ships. Any tips for managing this outside of just putting lots of ships on the route or drastically increasing the item production and building depots?

    3. A feature to allow ships to automatically spread out on the route so you don't have to wait until one is in the new world before starting your second ship.

    Performance issues in mainmenu and ingame

    Me and my friend started a new multiplayer round after taking a break from the game since december. We came back to extrem lags in the mainmenu and ingame. FPS drops from 70 to 10 without changing the view. After searching a bit i havent found anything usefull do you have some fixes in mind that could help?

    My specs:

    Ryzen 7 5800X

    RTX 2070 Super

    32GB DDR4 3000Mhz

    Installed on a NVME SSD

    Is it possible to change the order of trade routes inside groups?

    When not assigned to a group trade routes are automatically listed alphabetically. When in a group they are not anymore and can't be moved up or down. They also cannot be rearranged by removing and adding them again. Is there any way to change the order inside groups?

    I know that if you play with a medium-level AI, it will populate the islands without permission. AI can also populate the Arctic, even if I haven't discovered the region yet?

    Help With Game Files

    Hi,

    I recently replaced my hard disk with a SSDfor my games dive and I moved the Anno 1800 file over the the SSD and it started fine, but then I had an issue with mods not working so I downloaded the dll files again and copied them in, but after doing that now when I open the game, piers are missing. Like around my docks some of the piers are just blank. I know the best thing to do is just to uninstall and reinstall but I don't want to loose my game, I have spent almost a year on this save and I don't want to loose it. Can I uninstall the game and reinstall it and just put my save game file back in?
