    Pyrphorians attack mod?

    I saw that mod pack that will come out in the future to add Asia to the game etc.

    They got a mod that makes the Pyrphorians attack from time to time. Is that or something similar available somewhere as stand alone?

    I really want someone to test my harbour defences from time to time :D

    One Island Challenge Questions

    I am doing a few sandbox games while waiting for the final season 3 DLC to drop that add an extra level of difficulty - they all involve one-island challenges on high difficultly. In my current expert difficulty playthrough, I have reached investors and have run out of challenges besides eliminating all AI or acquiring final items to fully maximize the production.

    In order to make the challenge even harder, I have two questions:

    1) What is the highest difficulty settings combo you can play it? I have tried tweaking as much as possible but cannot get the difficulty slider all the way to the right.

    2) Is it possible to acquire all the items in the game via expeditions, or are other sources needed (e.g., the research institute)?

    On the assumption the research institute is needed to acquire most/all items, I am thinking of a new playthrough on the highest difficulty level that allows construction in Enbesa just until the research institute is unlocked and built on the main island, and the destroying the Enbesa colony and resuming the one-island rule. Having to pride for scholar residences and maintenance engineers for the production would also add to the challenge that docklands makes rather easy.

    On the note of difficulty, however, I am also thinking that having AI at all makes this challenge far easier. Surviving the AI without having to protect trade routes is super easy, and they give you an unlimited amount of ships/islands to farm for items. Playing without any AI whatsoever would make this challenge far harder I am thinking?
