    [Mod] Tourists are coming to the New World!

    The tourist, was so impressed by your Old World Cities that she decided to spend their next vacation on a luxury cruise to the New World. A few days later, her ocean liner has arrived at the Tourist Mooring of your colony.

    A small Obrero settlement has recently opened their hotels to the world.

    [Gameplay] New World Tourism is a new mod that adds tropical hotels, restaurants, bars and Cafés, altogether with a total of nine newly designed recipes for them. Be it the new Pamonha, Banana Bread or the headfreezing fruit sorbet, the tourists cannot wait to taste all the new world specialities, as well as your local population who will have a great time visiting your restaurants.

    The new Banana Bread will be selectable in New World Cafes. (All Icons & Artworks done by Fam)

    The New World also get's a new monument (forgive us, it does not have building phases because they are stupidly time consuming to do right): After constructing a total of 8 Tropical Hotels, you can welcome Tourists to the Restaurant "La Reine" around Christo Redentor!

    So, essentially, this is an extension of the tourist season DLC to the New World. Of course, this mod will require the Tourist Season DLC.

    So I hopped into Anno to play some of the new DLC but it says it is not available yet? I also own the Season Pass so I am not sure what exactly the issue is, any clues?

    Patch Day PSA for mod users... Don't load your save game with the new content until the modloader has been updated!

    As with every major patch release, you need to wait until modloader has been updated before you load your save game up or you will basically ruin your entire save. I usually have it updated pretty quickly so just keep an eye out here on Reddit and they will post it as soon as it's updated! Some mods may not even work even after mod loader is updated so keep a check on the mod pages on Nexus for updates.

    New update seems to reset game graphic settings

    After installing new update first thing I've noticed was terrible performance. I thought maybe optimization got worse in new version, but I've decided to change graphic settings and to my surprise I found out that game is using Ultra High graphics quality, DX11 and windowed fullscreen, so basically the worse performing scenario there is.

    I'm sure I wasn't using those settings. I don't use highest settings because my computer can't handle, I'm using DX12 to get performance boost in CPU bottle-necked scenarios, and I am not using windowed fullscreen because to use g-sync I need to play in normal fullscreen. On top of that, fixed sun position was off, and I prefer playing with shadows staying in place when camera is rotating.

    So yeah, if performance is worse after the patch, check game settings are the same.

    EDIT: changed settings to high/dx12/fullscreen/fixed sun position, rebooted and boom, doubled fps when looking at my small city.

    Recipes in factories

    What's your opinion about the recipes? I like them in the bars and restaurants, but not in the chemical fabric or the new artisan workshop and shopping arcades. Why only one building for three different Goods? So they all look almost the same and I dont know, what they produce and it makes the city looking more uniform

    Confused about skyscrapers skins and SHIFT+V

    But hitting shift+V changes the skyscrapers to a totally different style?

    New to Anno, a noob question (about 2070)

    Hi all, I'm slowly getting the hang of the Anno gameplay loop, but I had a question about the pops in Anno 2070 (and other Anno games if applicable).

    Once I've sorted out the steady creation of important resources, is there any need to keep the lowest level workers around, or can I upgrade them all?

    The reason I ask is that I wonder if you always need low level workers to build, and also work, the first jobs that you unlock in the game, like fishery and mining, etc.

    I can't really see anywhere in the UI if workers are assigned jobs like they are in Paradox games though, so I'm hoping it's fine if I just upgrade my pops once the 'tools' requirements aren't an issue? It would be super convenient if so, realism be damned!

    Also curious how the population mechanic works in other Anno games.

    Respect for the addition of the Notify button

    Of all the changes and new building and mechanics that came with the DLC, the Notify on arrival button was the addition to the game I was most looking forward to. This one little quality of life addition has helped immensely with the ship and non-repeatable trade route micromanagement.

    No more clicking on the Fleet window, to see if your ships have arrived. No more having to settle for low-balling your Trade and Charter Route's estimations, so they don't overpull from the origin harbor. No more exploration ships being forgotten for too long when they arrive at the end point of their route. Ding ding! They're ready to be filled up with the exact amount you want delivered, off-loaded or given new direction, and you don't have to do anything but wait for the ding, while you do something else.

    I love to know common or rare item are more powerful to legendary items, but I think it can be a little cheat ^^

    Hello guys, I recently started playing anno 1800 and absolutely fell in love with the game. But in my open game (easy difficulty) suddenly every AI declared war with me at the same time which brought me in a lot of trouble. Is there anything that triggers this? How can I prevent this? I didn't have bad relations with them and it suddenly happened when everything went well. Did anyone have this before?
