    Last we heard the industrial cosmetic DLC was supposed to release this month, and I was sure we'd get a standard Tuesday update the customary two weeks before release.

    Has there been any update? It's been I think 3 weeks of Radio silence and we're supposed to get a DLC this month and theoretically the airship one next month if the schedule holds.

    Just poking around for any information........

    A few QOL requests

    Hey all,

    I love this game so far, although I have only recently really gotten into it. I am only up to Artisans, just started importing/exporting, and have colonies in the New World and Enbesa. From my 30 hours playing, I have some QOL feature requests. These features mainly focus on making *existing information easily visible*. I emphasize *existing information* because I do not want to trivialize the game, I just want to eliminate tedious work and annoyances. I know it is unlikely we will see these features implemented until maybe the next Anno installment or perhaps as mods, but here is what I would like to see (in no particular order).

    Blueprints:

    • Save blueprints.
    • Blueprint roads.
    • Select multiple buildings (or blueprint buildings) and move them. The current copy tool is annoying because sometimes you have to copy -> move -> delete original -> copy the copy -> move to where you actually want to build -> delete the copy.
    • Make blueprints not permanently remove trees. Currently, the above copy tool issue destroys the natural look of islands.

    Production/income/happiness:

    • Honestly a tutorial on the details of all of these things would help. Explain how supply carts work, explain how taxes work and how they relate to happiness.
    • I would like alerts when not enough goods are being produced or when needs/happiness requirement are lost for some reason (hey, why did my income just tank? Oh sh--!)
    • Just because I am not sure if this is a separate issue: alert me to fires and give me info on why fires reduce my workforce/income.
    • In the statistics-production tab, there needs to be info on goods coming from trade routes, I should not have to remember "oh, -2 clothes is okay because my +3 clothes island is trading to compensate."
    • Adding onto this, production information needs to be far less obfuscated. Examples below.
    • Exact needs consumption amounts should be displayed, not rounded integers.
    • If your storage is full, production will go to 0 or negative until there is space. This can be confusing and alarming haha! There should be a pop-up that storage is full when you hover over the production number or something.
    • I should be able to see what production chains are using intermediate resources without visually checking my island (why do I have 5 sheep farms but only 2 sail makers? Oh right, there are 3 clothes makers over there)
    • There are more instances where I think "why isn't this info readily available?" but I can't recall them at the moment, I'm sure you all have long lists haha!

    Trade routes:

    • The fact that ships cannot unload and load in the same cargo slot is confusing and weird. I want my Schooner to carry 2 goods from island 1 to island 2, unload them, load 2 goods from island 2, then move on. For some reason, a cargo slot can only load or unload at an island.
    • The issue above causes an alert that says the ship on the trade route may not have enough cargo slots, and this took me a while to understand. If it is a design choice, that's fine, but it should be fixed by adding more ships to the route. There should be a checkbox to have an extra ship treated as extra cargo slots.
    • Speaking of extra ships on trade routes, it took trial and error to understand that an extra ship tries to accomplish the exact same trade as any other ship on the route. This may be obvious to some people, but I thought adding a ship would give me *more cargo slots* for the trade route.
    • A tutorial on trade routes would clarify all this.
    • Currently, computations for trade routes are tedious. The simplest way I have found is to have a trade ship complete a trade cycle, check the time the cycle took in the statistics-storage window, then open a calculator on my computer, round all relevant numbers up, and do some simple math. This isn't hard, but the game should make this way easier. For instance:
    • Display travel time estimates based on the type of ship, amount of cargo in the route, etc.
    • Have an in-game calculator that helps you plan trade routes: select islands to trade between, add ships, specify goods and amounts. Then, based on the estimated travel time that the game gives, display how much production is required to fulfill the trade. Also, let me input a consumption rate for a traded good, and then based on the estimated travel time, display how much goods volume is needed to meet the consumption rate and how much production is needed to meet the goods volume.
    • Currently, due to the above annoyances with trade computations, my trade routes only go between 2 islands. If the QOL features above were implemented, it would be easier to make multi-island trade routes.

    Thoughts? Anything I missed? I imagine as I get further in the game I will think of more QOL features. Also, remember that I really like this game, I just think some of these features would greatly improve it.

    How to get rid of Pirates on the first island?

    I went and destroyed everything that could be destroyed on the pirate island located on the south, but the island did not surrender...I sat there waiting for a while and nothing happened, went to the new world to do some things and suddenly all the structures on the pirate island spawned again and destroyed my fleet...! is there any way I can get rid of them completely or I have to deal with their ship randomly attacking my trade routes even though my fleet is 10 times stronger?

    Anno 2205 Remake

    Yes , I'm this kind of guy, I want that anno ( 2205 ) to be remade with the same tech & philosophy as Anno 1800.

    It is not a bad Game at all, it's just incomplete.

    Let's not forget that it is this one that gave us a first taste of what multi-session can look like.
    The setting was insanely fun. the interaction between each regions were interesting too.
    Just imagine, smaller sessions with a few gigantic Island where each player have it's own session with all the mechanics around. The islands where beautifull, the progression was clear & the multi-modules buildings gave us a taste of what it is in Anno1800.
    Even the military side was interesting ! with each battle happening on differents maps with a lot of action !

    What was really missing was mostly a sandbox mode & multiplayer.

    I want to get back to the moon with my friend !

    So I'm all in for a Anno 2502 or 2205 Remake
    Damn ! even a 2070 remade would be interesting ! or a 2106 as a middle ground !

    Hi im playing a modded game with no AI and all of sudden my game took a big performance hit. Each time i play, after like an hour or so my game slows down immensely

    Anyone else find 1800 too stressful?

    I've played almost all the games in the series, and have 1800 since launch, but I just can't quite get into it like on others in the series.

    For me it's just far too stressfull. Anyone else feel like the game is asking faaar too much of the player?

    I'm really struggling having to play 2 city builders at the same time while also having to constantly also play world of warships while doing that. I usually play the game for a day or two and then just get burned out due to all the micromanagement needed to even maintain the current state of affairs. The whole naval battle part is I find really too much, I'm trying to play a city builder, not naval warfare simulator.

    I eventually end up returning to either 1404 or 2205(I know not a fan favorite) but in those games there are so many things you can just set and forget and focus on building things up. 2205 in particular gets quite a lot of hate due to the way resources are handled, but I do like it more than the current model. I knew if I had a surplus or minus, or balanced, didn't have to look at stock like in previous games. Really miss this and it's not very obvious in 1800 how to get this view now.

    I do like the ideas and game play elements in 1800, but it just burns me out to quickly. Considering I have this game since launch, seeing only 44h in it is quite sad for me.

    Anyone else think ubisoft needs to either implement some balancing meajures or more quality of life updates? It feels like playing at least 3 games at once. I want to play the game, but the campaign is for me at least impossible.

    [MOD-REQUEST] LF Mod that add Treasure Location & Notifications with CrownFall DLC

    Hello. As In the title something i'm looking for is a way to show on the minimap thoose orange stars for the treasures map locations.
    And I saw during the campaign that the queen was talking to me when I was on the location of a treasure.
    Is there anywhere or is it possible to have a small mod that do one or both of the above ?

    PS : I checked on the github and on nexus mod but have not found any that seems to do just that :)
