Posted: 06 Jun 2022 05:47 AM PDT Hi all. Recently started playing again and I can't find a ton of information on some parts of Haciendas. The biggest thing I am still questioning is the value of Hacienda Housing from a strict Efficiency standpoint so... is it worth it? On one hand I can see the value of the more compact Housing but you only save 2 tiles over building 2 Houses and have the new additional needs to fill, so I am skeptical of their value. But there are FAR more knowledgeable people here who might have a different read on it. Obviously aesthetically? Different freaking story. Stuff is gorgeous. [link] [comments] | ||
Expansions feel more and more like cheats that go against the game? Posted: 06 Jun 2022 06:09 AM PDT I just bought the Hacienda expansion and... what? You know how every island can only grow certain crops because of fertilities? well that mechanic was cut from the game. Trade routes between new and old world? Cut from the game, no longer necessary. I thought the research institute allowing you to make cotton in the old world was bad enough, but they had to take it even further. Next expansion will likely allow you to terraform islands from the ocean :D or add items that turn fish into gold. [link] [comments] |
