Is it possible to boost palace area of influence radius? And do have character items any use? Posted: 16 Apr 2020 11:18 AM PDT Hello. I would like to know if there is any way how to increase the palace radius. (Latest DLC Seat of power) - you can build palace and this palace influences different buildings in radius (not residences but town halls, variety theaters, harbourmaster etc.) and then any building which has access to this specific building is influenced. But the road access is rather small I think and it cant be enlarged as far as I know. Also adding more wings to the palace wont enlarge the road access "circle" of influence. Do you have any tips how to place palace in relation to your town halls, theaters, harbourmaster, muzeum, zoo, worlds fair etc.? 2nd question is related to character items. They dont do nothing in game and you can sell them for 25 which is literally garbage. I think that these items dont have any use but am I right? [link] [comments]
Anno 1404 Venice - Ubisoft Uplay Store - RAM Memory Issue Posted: 16 Apr 2020 02:31 AM PDT Hi, I'm just curious, as I saw in the last months a lot of Anno 1404 related posts and wanna kind get back to it from 1800. Is in the UPlay version the RAM memory leak issue addressed? Usually on the GOG version I got constant crashes on games that took long hours and that put it off for me, and no matter the workaround ( Large Address Aware .exe; CFF Explorer; 4GB Patch; lower graphics settings etc.) it still crashes on long sessions. Thanks [link] [comments]

So is Cape Trelawney map randomized? Posted: 16 Apr 2020 09:13 AM PDT I see some youtuber's Cape Trelawyney and their islands are different from mine. It seems except for the huge landmass on the north and the location of Nate, the rest of the islands on the map are randomized? [link] [comments]

How does ministry of culture work on tourism islands? Posted: 16 Apr 2020 07:12 AM PDT Recently I set up a couple of tourism islands with just a ministry of culture. I obviously went for the VIP-Pool and boosted my palace to Level 25, so that it sais the bonus on the visitor chance is 120%. Somehow though when I check the tourism piers on the (very small) tourism islands, it says there is a chance of 30-40% only. All the other bonuses seem to work as indicated, only this one doesn't. Not that it is needed (I had to tear half of the islands down because it got too annoying accepting all the visitors) but I wonder why that is. [link] [comments]

Which version o Anno 1800 should i get? Posted: 16 Apr 2020 04:47 AM PDT HI! Epic games have a 50% sale for the standard/complete version. I am new to the Anno series and i want to dive into it. Is the 2 season pass for the complete version worth it or should i just stick with the standard version of it? [link] [comments]
Crazy low FPS for such a game... Posted: 16 Apr 2020 08:22 AM PDT Am I the only one that thinks the game is unoptimized as hell? I mean my i7 4790k, 16 GB, 980 Ti (GIGABYTE Windforce) gets 40-60 FPS with high settings (not ultra) and everything overclocked... this is at 1080p, at 4k it's an instant 25 FPS. Anyone facing the same low FPS? I get the graphical necessity for textures etc. but there is literally 0 physics in this game, so... [link] [comments]

Is there a mod to keep factories working even when warhouse storage is full? Posted: 16 Apr 2020 03:05 AM PDT Hi, I'm playing Anno 1800 just as a relaxation/sandbox game. I want to build beautiful cities without the stress of high difficulty and managing resources - I already get enough stress from my pointy-haired boss at work. I'm playing with cheats so that I have infinite gold and warehouse resources. However, when warehouse storage is full, farms and factories stop working. You don't see workers out in the fields or steel mills producing smoke, which is needed for the Victorian ambience. Is there a way to keep factories producing even if warehouse storage is full, as my cities are missing the activity ambience. Or alternatively is there a way to make the game easier if I just want a city building sandbox. [link] [comments]
No Anarchist Defectors / Anarchy Resident quests? Posted: 15 Apr 2020 04:50 PM PDT I'm trying to get the Propaganda of the Deed achievement but I'm getting very few anarchy Resident quests. I tried across multiple sandbox games with Hugo and some even don't have any anarchists defecting to my island! is there any thing I need to do, bigger economy or military maybe? Posted: 15 Apr 2020 04:46 PM PDT New player here! I'm playing the tutorial campaign on easy. I'm at 4k people in total, with about 300 artisans on the main island. People are happy and I'm making money, but I don't know how to get to the next tier. I'm just stagnating... tweaking details and being afraid of actual change. To attract hundreds of artisans, I'd need to upgrade all production lines, and I'd end up running out of space on the main island. I'm pretty much in autarcy except for hops, am I supposed to import more basic goods? My trade lines are very weak because the pirates keep sinking my ships. I do make frégates consistently, they just... get sinked if I try to send them on a trade route far away I was slow to expand so I only claimed the medium island Nanbury and two tiny islands to the west. Plus the New World colony, where I just made a hospital. [link] [comments]
Posted: 15 Apr 2020 04:41 PM PDT My most recent sandbox games have been doing this funny thing where the NPC players won't progress into Artisans and I am the only one in the new world. Not sure why... The only thing I changed recently was playing with the map revealed but not sure why this would break everything. Anyone else having this issue? [link] [comments]
