    Recommend mods ? Anno 1800

    Posted: 24 Jun 2020 02:53 AM PDT

I'm well 100 hours into Anno 1800, I'm looking for mods mostly QOL and Gameplay changes. I went through nexus mods, but there are only 3 pages and less than 100 mods. Anny recommendations where to find mods/which to use ?

SpiceItUp is on my list ;)

Flattening the terrain in Anno 1800?

    Posted: 24 Jun 2020 01:00 AM PDT

    Hey everyone,

I built a big plaza / square using paved roads in my Cape city, but it bothers me how uneven the terrain is around the place. It is like the side of a hill. I don't want to redesign my entire city, so my question is: Is there a way to flatten terrain in the game? A trick or mod? I'm new to the game, so I might have overlooked something. Thanks in advance!

Was someone able to redeem the code for physical Anno History collection?

    Posted: 24 Jun 2020 10:16 AM PDT

Got my order today from Amazon but typing in the Code it only says the code is invalid. Wonder if it's because it's officially released tomorrow (never had this problem with any game I got earlier) or if it's faulty.

[1800] Sell at chosen warehouse level moving on its own?

    Posted: 24 Jun 2020 08:30 AM PDT

Sorry for my ill worded title. But you know when you set your warehouse to sell an item when it reaches a certain amount of stock? Like sell above this line?

Well that seems to change on me. Drastically dropping low and selling too much.

My guess is maybe when I make a new trade route that affects it? Is this the case or..?

Are you as chaotic as me or are you more calculated? [Anno 1800]

    Posted: 24 Jun 2020 08:14 AM PDT

I love the game and I'm presently sucked into it once again. I wonder if everyone is as all over the place as I am with the game. I'm doing well but it seems like my balance of goods, people, income, and military is all over the place.

    1. Do you find your income balance swings around a lot? Seems like the newspaper modifiers and trying to surge forward in a war is a nightmare for my balance sheet.
    2. Do you try to make every island as self sustaining as possible or do you specialize them and lean heavy on trade routes to distribute goods?

I don't think there's wrong answers here but I'd love to know how you guys play.

    Advanced Trade Routes?

    Posted: 24 Jun 2020 03:44 AM PDT

I'm trying to get to grips with my trade routes but Im finding it confusing. Is there a good way to organise it? I think having several ships all loading and unloading many different types of items is to complicated, and I can't stand the thought of throwing sewing machines overboard if theres too much coal or something.

I get how trade routes work, but I want to to know how to properly utilise them and organise them as Its getting too messy.

Spice It Up Mod - Charter Costs?

    Posted: 24 Jun 2020 07:28 AM PDT

For some reason now my charter costs have jumped from 50 a boat to 700!?

I know the Spice It Up Mod makes it so that your charters are now clippers, but why is it so expensive now?!

Just out of curiosity: Does anyone know a city where the houses have green copper roofs like the investor residents have in this game? Or was the colour only chosen to distinguish investors from engineers?

Mme. Elise "The Nose" Bouquet bugged?

    Posted: 23 Jun 2020 07:59 PM PDT

Can anyone confirm if this specialist is working correctly? I have her on my main island and ever since she was slotted into the trade union, I haven't had a single ship come in with specialists on that island after a few hours of playing.

I'm planning on testing to see if specialists start appearing again if she is removed from the trade union but am wondering if others with her are having a similar issue.

    Greek Fire

    Posted: 23 Jun 2020 11:30 PM PDT

I have a pack of 5 orange bottles, 'greek fire'. I'm supposed to click to activate, then usually you click on a target and boom. Here it does nothing. Is it a known issue for this item?

    Free champagne

    Posted: 23 Jun 2020 10:15 PM PDT

I'm playing the campaign with custom settings (expert) and it seems I get freebies regularly in my harbor: champagne, chocolate, rum. I have no specialist that would give that for free either.

From where this comes from? This kills the difficulty of the game in the end. I could sell them for far too much money.
