Game feature idea: Hotels for tourists to "hold" on the tourists for increased income duration Posted: 17 Jun 2020 08:40 AM PDT Saw this post https://www.reddit.com/r/anno/comments/haslct/mod_trainstations_hotels_trainstations_2_dllink/ About a hotel, and it would work quite well with the base game without it being a mod, I believe. A hotel building which could house tourists temporarily. It would save a portion (25%, 50%, 75% whatever) of tourists that visit for X amount of "rounds" which the tourists rotate. Could also increase likelihood of unique visitors as they would "think about" staying on an island. The building has a similar "spread" as market/pub/variety theater/club. The hotel residents gain access to visit public attractions and other parts of a city only with that reach. What do you guys think? Would it fit the game vanilla-vise? [link] [comments]
Posted: 17 Jun 2020 09:38 AM PDT Does anyone bother with getting sewing machines, beer, etc to the new world? I haven't even bothered with hats yet! Wondering if the investment into the Obrero tier is worth it? Thanks! [link] [comments]

Best Ship Items for Expeditions? Posted: 16 Jun 2020 10:29 PM PDT I quite like the expeditions of this game but I find that the risks can be pretty high if poorly equipped. Even on 1 star difficulty expeditions, i've lost a couple of specialists already because of that. As such its gotten me thinking into which specialists are the most useful when it comes to Expeditions in general. So does anyone have a recommended list of must have specialists and even items (like the rations) that they generally bring on board? [link] [comments]
Posted: 17 Jun 2020 09:38 AM PDT Hi guys, I have just bought this game but I'm kinda bad at planning city and my houses and production places are in mess, would you recommend restart campaign or play blindly? [link] [comments]
Playing in expert, with different opponents Posted: 16 Jun 2020 08:05 PM PDT I feel there is a missing opportunity from the game here ... The difficulty level is hardcoded in opponents, meaning that if I want a tough game, I'm forced to only pick opponents within the 3-stars list, which is very short. And never play with most other characters ... Unless someone tell me there is not much differences between opponents? How they play differently in fact, I don't have played enough Anno 1800 games to recognize their pattern or change in behavior ... [link] [comments]
Anno 1404 keeps crashing when clicking 'demolish' tool. Posted: 17 Jun 2020 12:49 AM PDT Hello, My friends anno 1404 keeps crashing when he clicks the demolish button (V hotkey crashes him too). Does anybody know how to fix this? Settings are all on low. Thanks in advance! [link] [comments]
Do you think there will be some dlc that focuses on endgame and adds more stuff like world fair? Posted: 17 Jun 2020 12:26 AM PDT What are your ideas for such buildings that can consume many resources and give you some sort of rewards? [link] [comments]
Posted: 17 Jun 2020 12:03 AM PDT Hey I'm playing on Expert and enjoying the rather high difficulty (Grandma Hunt has me on the ropes!) ... Then I checked Isabella and Plantain selling at 1321 apiece?? Either I trade and I basically kills my game, because when you have one million, you can probably run in the negative at -10.000 or I don't trade ... What's your view on that, when playing on Expert, are you selling plantains? It seems almost like being Midas if you do so, it seems to unbalances the game greatly ... [link] [comments]
Crashing after update - do I wait for WeMod to catch up? Posted: 16 Jun 2020 08:53 PM PDT I tried to start the game when several relatively short updates were made. I use Mods, so I enter thru WeMod. The game now crashes after I click the name of my character - well a minute or so after that. After looking over previous posts here and there of past cases, should I assume this is a case for WeMod (as others have said) to follow suit with their own update or would it be something else? This just happened - been playing hours on and off for days. [link] [comments]
The next DLC will be in Africa Posted: 17 Jun 2020 03:36 AM PDT From this developer blog https://www.anno-union.com/en/devblog-bright-harvest/ Of course, it would be gross malpractice to try and feed fuel to the animals, so instead each session has a good that the silos will consume (and which needs to be transported to them): grain for the Old World, corn for the New World, and in the Land of Lio…oh, now that would be telling! Land of Lions ... Presumably. But quite probable shall I say. If only we could get soldiers on land (complete with Pith colonial helmets), but I seriously doubt that. [link] [comments] |
