Save Game Bug. Can't Save game, or Delete old saves OR delete old Campaigns Posted: 15 Jun 2020 09:22 AM PDT HI Is there anyone else experience this saved game bug? I was playing for a day, autosaves were popping up and I was manully saving. Quit the game, went back in... NOTHING was saved. Completely bugged out. I just went back in, loaded a game (takes forever even from NVME SSD/32GB RAM) and then tried to save again. Nothing happens... My game I just save is not available to be loaded? If Anyone has an idea? Also, where can I log Anno BUGS? I have not found the bug report link yet So frustrated right now. I just don't ... playing anno map for 50 hours without saving? Uhm,... that would not be nice. [link] [comments]
Posted: 15 Jun 2020 05:29 AM PDT Just got back to anno 1800 after like 8 months break. Found out the 2nd season pass is out. Should I buy it? How much does it add to the game? [link] [comments]

Things I'd like to see in Anno 1800 Posted: 15 Jun 2020 12:10 PM PDT 1.) Active Pause Fairly self-explanatory, allow us to build in the world while the game is paused. I love to meticulously build up my islands with balanced production rates, maximized profit, and most importantly for an average game, it needs to be beautiful! Unfortunately, when spending too much time on these aspects of the game in its early stages, the AI can blow past you, particularly at the higher levels. An active pause could perhaps be a setting upon game setup effecting the difficulty rating of the game. 2.) Map Editor A map editor is something I know that many players, including myself want very badly, as well as miss from previous games in the Anno series. A map editor would allow players to create custom maps for a more unique/enjoyable/memorable experience. 3.) Multi-Object Move Another addition that is fairly self-explanatory is the ability to move multiple objects at once. A great example would be city blocks if one is reorganizing their city to be more efficient, or attractive to the eye. 4.) Blueprint Saving When playing Anno, I find myself maximizing the efficiency of a certain production chain, making a build for it, and reusing it from island to island, and it would be useful to be able to save and store blueprints to plop down production centers for use on different islands within one game, or maybe even from game to game. The game Factorio does this with its blueprint exchange strings very well. 5.) Interactive Weather An idea I thought was cool would be for advanced/interactive weather systems which could be unique to each session. The new world could have hurricanes and/or Tsunamis. The Arctic could have blizzards, or drifting glaciers, and the new African session could have sandstorms. The players could prepare for these events if they are warned of storms forming a while in advance, which happen only once or twice per game per session by building relief shelters, having a large supply of rations, or building sand bag walls along the coast. There can also be smaller storms that could disrupt ship movements, or sea battles. 6.) Upgradable Flagship At the early stages of the game, the Flagship heads your fleet, as it is fast, sturdy, transports more than the ships you can start with, and hits hard and quick, later in the game however, I find it begins to lag behind some of the ships. I think it would be very interesting to have the Flagship start off weaker, but as you advance through each population tier, starting with workers, your flagship could enter a shipyard and get an upgrade. The flagship could eventually become some kind of super powerful steam cruiser, or even becoming a pre-dreadnought class of ship that began to emerge in the real world at the tail end of the 19th century. This would line up very well with the late game of an Anno 1800 game, as well as being a natural restriction on militaries, as each player could only hold 1 of these powerful pre-dreadnought ships. Do you too hope for things like these, and what would you like to see? [link] [comments]
Posted: 15 Jun 2020 03:24 AM PDT Im getting this error: Uplay error you have lost connection... As Uplay uses some online features you must restart your game. Then it crashes It was fine last night and I have no Internet issues... When I clicked uplay there was a update to the launcher could this be the issue?? [link] [comments]
Posted: 15 Jun 2020 11:40 AM PDT Hey folks, how do I stop Anno 1800 from saving auto saves and images on my OneDrive? It's causing all these Out-Of-Memory alerts. Thanks! [link] [comments]
Starting a sandbox game immediately in Cape Trelawney? Posted: 15 Jun 2020 01:22 AM PDT Hey everyone, I just bought Anno 1800 with both season passes, and I'd be interested if there is any way to start a sandbox game immediatelly at Cape Trelawney. A console command, a cheat, or any tricks? I've heard there is a huge island there full of resources, and I intend to build a really big single-island empire (I don't want to focus on multiple islands). Sure, I could get 700 artisans on my first island, which would be needed to unlock an expedition to the Cape according to Google, but it would be more fun and faster to start a fresh game there right away. Any thoughts or tips? [link] [comments]
Compat, complete, update guide? Posted: 15 Jun 2020 03:22 AM PDT Could you suggest me a compact faq, tutorial or description of the game strategy? I find only very outdated youtube video tutorial, too basic or too long. I need TEXT, something like the old styled gamefaqs.com guides, something that give me some advice like DO NOT BUILD COPPER MINES UNITL YOU HAVE REIFORCED CONCRETE. Like:
(...) https://anno1800.fandom.com/wiki/Users%27_Guides has only specific guides on secondary aspects. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/pc/217803-anno-1800 is empty. Youtube is flooded of unusable content dated more than 1 year ago, while Bright Harvest has changed everything related to farming and livestock. [link] [comments]

Posted: 14 Jun 2020 02:42 PM PDT Doing an unmoded playthrough and ever since the last update the expedition missions for rescue missions feels way off. I just did a bunch of 3 star ones and haven't received one specialist, it was just boat npcs / cannons / shields / dock items/ seeds. Normally you see these doing pirate missions so what are they doing in my rescue missions? Also maybe anecdotal but eli and re-rolling seems off to me as well. Just getting the same 15 or so epic specialists from eli I've been playing this game for months and Its never been like this for me. [link] [comments]

What's your favourite island size? Posted: 14 Jun 2020 01:07 PM PDT What do you like more, large islands where you can build everything, or having more smaller islands with building a trade network? [link] [comments] |
