This may sound wrong but I quit playing Anno 1800 since a week cause time flys to fast while I play Posted: 08 Nov 2020 11:00 AM PST I mean it for real. I started playing at 5 in the morning and suddenly it was 10. I went and made myself a cup of coffee at 6 and forgot to drink it while playing and I even forgot that I made a coffee so I made a new one at 9 and noticed I have two mugs. One with hot coffee and one with cold coffee. And the thing is I can't play Anno 1800 for a hour or two. It's actually quite sad because I play games like Starcraft II or Overwatch. I play a round and know its about 15-25 minutes, sometimes but in the less cases 30+ minutes (Shout out to turtle Terrans wp). But this game is frustrating in that way and I don't know why. What even hits me more is if I spend an hour on adjusting my zoo and it feels like 5 minutes. Even I leave the house after 6 hours questioning myself what I did all day. Sometimes I think I'm the most useless human being at that moment. Like literally all I did was waste my time. I didn't even annoy a real person. I just wasted my time for bots to be more happy in there bot world. I think that is all I wanted to write and I don't even feel better for it. Maybe I'll play a quick round of Anno 1800 later tonight. [link] [comments]

Good seeds for the last update Anno? Posted: 08 Nov 2020 02:43 AM PST Hi, Could someone recommend a very good seed for Anno Patch 9? I feel I'm kind of done with my current game: I have about 40K investors, a beautiful city in Enbessa with 10K of Elders, 12K of scholars... Certainly, I can push it to 50K investors on one island or 25K scholars to get extra achievements, but another alternative is just to start in a new world :) [link] [comments]
More luxury goods production for Anno 1800 : Ideas Posted: 08 Nov 2020 07:51 AM PST I would love a DLC or mod that adds some crazy amount of luxury goods and needs after you advance far enough. I know it's not really realistic but I came up with some fast ideas here for what could be done with the already available raw materials in the game. I'd love to hear what other people can come up with! Farmers: Fish + Potatoes = Fish & Chips Wood + Dried Meat = Smoked Jerky Coal = Christmas Presents Workers: Salt + Beef + Potatoes = Packed Lunch Wood Veneers + Glass = Cabinets Linen = Bed Linens Artisans: Chocolate + Flour + Goat's Milk = Cakes Paper + Dynamite = Firecrackers Rubber + Wood = Pingpong Equipment Engineers: Fish Oil + Hibiscus + Tobacco = Medicine Cotton Fabric + Goose Feathers = Pillows Huskies + Sanga = Puppies <3 Investors: Chocolate + Grapes + Rum + Paper = Pralines Pigs + Spices + Bees = Glazed Ham Copper + Wood = Roofing Disclaimer: I stole the ideas for Fish & Chips and Cakes from u/Spacer176 [link] [comments]

Anno late game CPU benchmarks? Posted: 08 Nov 2020 12:31 AM PST Are there any Anno 1800 CPU benchmarks, especially of the new Ryzen 5000 series (Zen 3)? How well does it scales with multiple cores? Does it matter if you have 6, 8, 12 or 16 cores? [link] [comments]
Max level palace (what's the best way to 1m residents) Posted: 08 Nov 2020 04:26 AM PST So I hit 50k investors and am plodding towards 25k scholars but I realized I'd quite like to max out my palace. That requires 1m residents, give or take. So some questions. Should I go mostly scholars/investors? Do demands depend on residents or buildings? If I stack +resident town hall items everywhere will that boost my pop without increasing needs for goods? From reading, it seems like penny farthings and coffee are going to be my bottleneck. Also hibiscus tea. For crop farms, obvs tractors everywhere + seed drill and plough with feras seem like the perfect combo. Palace for extra trade union item. For industry it seems like the palace +50% boost to electricity is the way to go, except in rare circumstances. Specific specialists vary so much by production chain so there's no fast rule, especially in the old world where labour is easy to set up. In the new world I generally favour less workforce but maybe that will change as I scale up? Most islands should try and get a couple of mines with the augur chap creating oil. Sell excess ore to keep them running. Any recommendations on garden/museum/zoo sets for the main islands? Any gotchyas I need to consider? [link] [comments]

Posted: 08 Nov 2020 02:09 AM PST Hi all ! With the recent change to Ubisoft Club, we were granted all rewards from the club, that previously required Units and the like. Whilst in my uplay, on the game page, it says that I have everything, ingame, everything is still locked, wether portraits, decorations, skins, etc... wanted to know if I missed something ? Maybe I have to do something to get them ? Thanks all for your help and have a good day. [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Nov 2020 07:31 AM PST Does anybody knows what exactly has to be done to achieve Goatberg Variations ("The Goats Sing: Mi Ti So Do and ?")? I've tried clicking on those goats in different order but no success yet, I do have a tin ear but it might as well be a bug in the game (already had one with the DLC...) [link] [comments]
Looking for help on the quest: On queit meres. Posted: 08 Nov 2020 12:40 AM PST So I'm on the quest: Kidusi Anitoni, On queit meres: Find in Kidusi that wich is bland when floating but delicious when sunk. However after clicking every possible item/bulding on the island... nothing.... even tried it the next day after I completly closed the game, restarted the pc and logged in again. [link] [comments]
Posted: 07 Nov 2020 03:43 PM PST Hey guys, i discovered that you can build an item developement kit with the new scholars. Since you cant create the "coffee need fulfilled" item with it, that you get from completing the Cap Trelawney story, im wondering which item would be good to have that isnt already in the creation tool of the institute. Issue with Land of Lions progression Posted: 07 Nov 2020 03:36 PM PST The new DLC is amazing, but in two seperate saves, I have progressed in "The Rise of Emperor Ketema", but haven't been presented with the opportunity to unite Enbesa? Kidusi, Waha Desher and Angereb are just completely passive and haven't given any kind of mission or opportunity to start that storyline. I couldn't find anything on google, probably since the DLC is still new, but does anyone know the solution, or is there a wait period? [link] [comments]
Posted: 07 Nov 2020 02:21 PM PST So I heard somewhere that every intersection a service or electricity passes through knocks the range down by one. Can someone confirm this and I the case of two parallel roads running next to each other is every tile then an intersection? [link] [comments] |
