Limited Coast Space/How good will the Docklands be? Posted: 13 Feb 2021 03:46 AM PST So a lot of people seem to be worried about the Docklands, because a lot of content is coming that will be placed on the coast, while a lot of space here is already used up. The developers have told us that expanding coastal building space won't be possible, but instead the new buildings will be more efficient. So exactly how efficient are they? Well, a classic storage provides space for 50t on a 4×9=36 tile space. On stream, we could see that a single storage module of the upcoming Docklands provides 100t storage on a 3x3=9 tile space. So that means they provide double the capacity on a quarter of the space. That is an increase of space efficiency of 800%! So unless your island really has next to no coastal line at all, I think we can look forward to a lot of freed up space on the coast. (Except for my sand production in Crown Falls, I guess...) So what are your thoughts? Let me know! [link] [comments]
Some suggestions post-season pass 3 Posted: 13 Feb 2021 06:06 AM PST Now that season 3 is announced and we know what we're getting as I assume to be the last real extra stuff for the game, I wanted to make these two suggestions.
So this was fairly short, since they were suggestions directly copied from features 1404 has, but they are very dear to my heart nonetheless. [link] [comments]
Posted: 13 Feb 2021 12:06 PM PST Silly question here... is there a way to turn edge scrolling on and off? I've been looking to deactivate it in the settings but cant find anything. Anno 1800. [link] [comments]

ANNO 2070 Deep Ocean not showing up Posted: 13 Feb 2021 09:58 AM PST I recently bought the Deep Ocean DLC for 2070, but it does not show up in the game. To do that I need to use an activation code, that i never got in the ubisoft connect store. The DLC is in my ''Owned DLC'' section on Ubisoft Connect. Has anyone else encountered this issue or does someone know how to fix this? [link] [comments]
Posted: 13 Feb 2021 09:10 AM PST So I haven't played the game since July and Im not sure if something changed but whats going on with Influence? Why can't I constuct an unlimitird massive fleet like before or build shore defenses without Influence? [link] [comments]
Posted: 13 Feb 2021 07:57 AM PST For illness and riots there is a way but I am not sure about fire. [link] [comments]

Is there anyway to locate a file that you actually deleted in game? I lost my 60+ hour save. Posted: 13 Feb 2021 05:54 AM PST So I messed up. 100% my mistake but trying to fix before freaking out. I was creating a new save to play with my brother from the house. Not co-op just a single player file. I created the character using the same avatar I usually do and made it the same name (out of habit) I usually do. I didn't realize that messed up my main save. (makes total sense and I'm dumb.) We went 5 minutes last night and he got bored so he walked away. Got off the computer and saw that was the most recent save when I got back on the computer this morning and just deleted it not thinking anything about it. Went to find my main save and it's not here anymore. I've checked the documents folder but it's not there. Also checked my recycle bin just in case. anywhere else I can look please? Thank you for any help for my stupidity lol. [link] [comments]

Posted: 12 Feb 2021 06:57 PM PST Hi, For some reason my markers on Ore, quests, Not enough workers, upgrades & others that show where they are (star for example on quests) aren't showing. I tried looking it up, but am not sure what they are called in game. I'm sure it's something I've done, but I can't figure it out. Can anyone help me out please? Edit: Okay, nvm. I just went into the game & they are back. I don't know why they disappeared for a while last night. Strange. [link] [comments]
Turning off building auto-rotation (1800) Posted: 12 Feb 2021 10:38 PM PST Hey all, So I've started a new game ahead of season 3 (better planning for integrating the new stuff rather than retrofitting an existing build) and I am finding myself reminded of how enormously frustrating it is to have the game automatically rotate residential buildings to make them fit into blocks. Investors and Engineers are easily the worst offenders. Is there a hot key or some sort of toggle to stop that happening? I don't always want to build in grids, and frequently they look more interesting or visually pleasing if they are rotated differently. Any ideas? [link] [comments]
Upgrading lower tier houses not possible Posted: 12 Feb 2021 02:56 PM PST So I have this island full of engineers, exclusively engineers, nothing else. I would like to add a few more engineer houses, maybe 5 or 6, so I build a few more residences. I can't upgrade them though because since I don't have any other farmer residence my tier population is too low to qualify for the goods. So in order to get my few engineer houses I need to build a whole farmer village, and then an even bigger workers village and then even bigger artisan town. I think this changed with the Enbesa update. before that you qualified for all goods if you had higher tier residents and could thus upgrade. Is this a bug or intentional? If it is a bug, please, please fix it. And if it's a feature: Why!? Oh, why!? This is terribly annoying, please change it back to how it was before! This is terribly cruel to anybody with even mild ocd when you discover a spot where you could fit in another higher residence but then have to go through the whole upgrade and grow process again.
