    [MOD] Harbour_Ornaments_2.0_MU

    its done :)

    What to expect:

    - 9 different quay variations, adapted to all regions.

    - 6 different quay streets, adapted to all regions.

    - Redesigned and textured Vanilla Kai Streets in the Old and New World.

    - In addition, the Arctic and Africa have also received quay roads that are identical to the original in terms of their function. Road from land to water!

    - an "invisible" road, on which you can then put bridges, which then also function as a road. Unfortunately it is not possible for ships to pass through.

    - 3 more steel bridges, similar to the vanilla bridge from "DLC Docklands". These are wider (street function) and available in 3 different lengths.

    - an animated steel bridge, similar to the vanilla bridge from "DLC Docklands", in different lengths.

    - a wooden bridge in different lengths that can be built seamlessly together.

    - a special definition of a lighthouse.

    - Port cranes in various sizes, some of which are animated.

    - a port construction site.

    - various moorings (purely ornamental).

    - Ornaments from "DLC Bright Harvest", now on the water

    - a modular port depot, which can be built seamlessly at some moorings.

    - 2 new oil stores in 5 different colors each (functional).

    - 2 new gun emplacements (functional).

    - Walls and fences from "DLC Bright Harvest" and "DLC City Lights".

    - Lots of static, ornamental ships and boats, with and without sails / steam.

    - Quay wall walkway.

    - Billboards for quay walkways.

    - Flags for quay wall walkways.

    - flags for the quay.

    - Billboards for the quay.

    - Container plants in different variations

    - Benches in different designs.

    - Statues and fountains.

    - Lots of ornamental objects.

    - and a harbor fair.

    - almost forgotten: a tugboat that can be built in the steamship yard.

I wish you a lot of fun, muggenstuermer

Why you should Vote for Eldritch Pack

    Posted: 09 Apr 2021 08:50 AM PDT

First allow me to preface this by saying I am completely biased for Eldritch pack.

as many of you already know there is a current vote going on at anno union for some cosmetic packs. Now the popular vote currently sits on Vibrant cities and Pedestrian Zone packs. with New world coming up third. and only the top two get chosen. now let me give you some reasons on why you should vote for eldritch pack .

Vibrant Cities: Change the look of your city with new skins for various buildings. This one is actually fair and a good choice for voting if you are not going to vote eldritch. since it will allow you to change the look of your buildings without interfering with your structures and design. least intrusive and possibly most varied pack based on description.

"New World Pack": Enhance your New World session with dedicated ornaments and decorations. This pack is a terrible idea. your new world settlements are already taking up as much space as possible with Coffee and tobacco (thank you docklands) farms so you will not have room for decorations at all thus making this worthless more so in comparison to the other packs(excluding big top).

"Pedestrian Zone Pack": Make your pedestrian's life more comfortable with over- and underpasses, statues, wells, and more. Okay this one sounds great , sounds like you would get new roads and ways to manage your building allowing tighter construction right? let your palace and public buildings cover more ground right? except these are COSMETIC packs so it would not aid you in any way . if they did add gameplay mechanics the underpasses it would be insanely valuable but as this is Cosmetic not gameplay this pack is effectively worthless for what some may think it is. it wont even add all too many decorations maybe if it came with rivers it would surpass Eldritch but it does not appear so.

"Big Top Pack": Have the circus come to town whenever you feel like it! Lets be honest here we all know how we feel about this pack. everyone knows how they feel about this pack so lets move on.

"Eldritch Pack": Introduce fantastical and gothic horror elements to your city with some spooky ornaments. Now this game has plenty of Decoration options for your cities already with the same aesthetic over and over again. This pack would add some much need variety to the game much like the Christmas and Botanica decorations did(especially the botanica decorations). Now i know some of you may be thinking "Oh this is spooky they will just release this at Halloween even if we do not vote for it" which yes that is a possibility but if it doesn't even place third its probably never going to happen. additionally this pack brings to mind one NPC that was lost to us. a Lady of the Dark the one and only Florence Morel – The Occultist

    https://imgur.com/a/klaWXuQ

Florence Morel began her fascination with the occult as a morbid little girl, when she claimed to have found a mirror between worlds. Inheriting a vast fortune, her gothic search for truth now unfolds on a grander scale. Her army of acolytes seem bewitched, letting no one and no thing obstruct their leader. They say it is Morel's destiny to set loose universal mysteries – for good or ill – and in doing so, change humankind forever.

The Eldritch pack would help realize her dream which was stolen away from her and left on the cutting floor by the Foul Anarchist Dr. Hugo Mercier. Do not let her dream die bring forth the Decorative Eldritch Gods and change Anno forever! now go vote at this link, just login/register and Vote for Eldritch Pack! https://anno-union.com/vote-for-this-years-cosmetic-dlc/comment-page-1/#comment-21833 [published by Anno Chronicles Newspaper edition 632 "The grass is never greener" ]

A milestone in my Anno gaming...

    Posted: 09 Apr 2021 01:02 AM PDT

    ...but not a positive one.

For the first time since I first played back in 2019, I'm experiencing the problem some other users have also noticed. Starting out with flickering and black polygons on screen, and after 10 minutes the screen just turns black. The game is still running, I can hear the festivals, money coming in, the woman announcing specialist arrivals,... But I can't see anything. The only way to get out of it, is to force quit the game :(

Coincidence or not: it's the first time I play since the 1.4GB update was installed a couple of days ago. Could this be related?

    Realism Mod for AI Housing?

    Posted: 09 Apr 2021 01:39 AM PDT

Is there a mod out there that fixes the AI's "cheating" behavior regarding population? Like they have six worker houses but have a Steelworks up, plus Brewery etc. which in of itself is not possible since there would be too few workers. It is really ruining the option to use smaller maps as they just blatantly ignore space constraints like this.
