New World goods very expensive after B. Harvest update?

    Posted: 06 Jun 2020 03:21 AM PDT

Hi everyone, after the Bright Harvest update I am noticing some issues. When I buy 150 of anything, it takes the $ but only loads 50 into the ship unless I buy 50 individually thrice. Also, the cost of new world goods has skyrocketed including over 100,000$ for 50 of coffee. Is that an error or intentional? I'm getting the same issue when buying from allies in the New World or from the AI in the Old World...

How do I know if I produce enough for my population?

    Posted: 06 Jun 2020 08:22 AM PDT

As title, of course before it's too late and I run out of goods... because then it snowballs fast to game over

I'm having an hard time understanding the menu which should provide this info, in the screenshot

Can you eli5 what does the green and blue bar mean? Do I need to keep both at max or not?

Atm I'm using https://nihoel.github.io/Anno1800Calculator/ but it's annoying to put each population number every time I make some changes and adjust production chains accordingly.

I want to make sure I don't fuck this up because two of my friend who bought the game with me went bankrupt as soon as they've started building engineers.

So is there any easy readable info to know how many of each production buildings I need according to my population?

For everyone dealing with the fuel station not delivering bug currently

    Posted: 05 Jun 2020 03:11 PM PDT

I found that pausing the fuel station BEFORE placing any tractor barns within its range seems to fix the problem and you won't have any issues with deliveries. Pause the station, set up your tractor barns, unpause station... profit! I tried this multiple times on multiple farms and had the same positive result each time. Hopefully this works for others.... it saved me a lot of headache. Hopefully a fix will be out soon!

Have I angered the RNG gods somehow?

    Posted: 06 Jun 2020 04:11 AM PDT

Just venting a smidge. It seems like since about a week before the update, the RNG gods have been against me in Anno. Not just with rolling for specialists, but also for completing expeditions. I'll have a 70% chance to complete something, and every time it fails. Is this happening to anyone else, or am I just having a string of bad rolls?

Just got the goulash pig replacement card and it's amazing. Any other game changers I should go after?

    Just don‘t understand why...

    Posted: 05 Jun 2020 02:56 PM PDT

Bright harvest is just lame... too little content and not game changing enough. And the tractor and silo ruin existing layouts

    Posted: 06 Jun 2020 03:09 AM PDT

The new content just isnt enough. And they're not game changing. Merely space saving. For vast majority of players there are more than enough land in every world for animal farms and crops. Unless you go for insane challenges like 1 million, 2 million or 5 million people, this update offers very little.

The addition of silo and barn is just painful for existing maps. My farms are also maxxed. There's no way i gonna allow tractors, which increase field size by 50%, on my trade union-maxxed out farms. There's no place to place the tractor sheds, and certainly no place to expand farms by 50%.

Just very pooly designed update. The palace update's much better and much in depth.
