There's actually one feature I miss from 2205: factory upgrade modules/buildings Posted: 11 Aug 2020 03:45 AM PDT Just like many of us, I wasn't really fond of Anno 2205, but I did like one feature: you could upgrade your factories with extra buildings. Considering how commonplace it was in the 19th century for factories to spread out like butter on a hot toast, I firmly believe it would be an excellent addition to the current game. And now that we have farm modules, why shouldn't we have factory modules? [link] [comments]

The Passage DLC not activating on old save. Posted: 11 Aug 2020 10:25 AM PDT Hi all, When I came back to Anno after a while off I wanted to pick up my old save. I was prompted to activate DLC upon loading the game but was not prompted for The Passage DLC. If I start a new game the DLC is active, according to Unisoft it's compatible with current save games. Does anyone know what I need to do to get it working? To verify its not activated the icon for it is not showing in the same game. [link] [comments]

Anno 1800 notification sound clips? Posted: 11 Aug 2020 01:21 AM PDT Hi, By any chance is there a source of some off the notification sounds anno 1800 uses that could be downloaded so they can be put on a sound board or sound alert panel on twitch. I have had a look around but can not find any, or is there a way to export them direct from the game files? thanks [link] [comments]
Are DLC's savegame compatible? Posted: 11 Aug 2020 02:53 AM PDT Because i'd love to start a new long-term game but would hate it if i can not use upcoming DLC's in that savegame. [link] [comments]
Looking for a Family/Friendly discord Posted: 10 Aug 2020 10:18 PM PDT Idk, I'm kind of new to the game. Just played it yesterday and today and already racked up 6+ hrs. I'm just looking for people who play this game who, idk, actually care, and are willing to help me and even challenge me to be better. Although my schedule does take up a majority of my time, I'd love to get into this game and find some people who would help me become better. Anyways, the only discord I could find was a 700+ general lfg one, and I'm looking for, as I said, a more personal group with whom I can laugh, learn, and grow. Edit: forgot to add that I am East US based, if that makes a difference or matters. And I didn't get any dlcs either , as I've noticed that the more dlcs and money I sink into a game, the less likely I am to continue playing it [link] [comments]
New to Anno (1800) Best to start with no extra maps to learn? Posted: 10 Aug 2020 05:38 PM PDT So I bought the deluxe edition when it was on sale, so have all DLCs. But I've never played an Anno game before (never even heard of them until watching Cohh play on Twitch) even though I love both the Civ franchise and CK2. Played a bit a few days ago and eventually think I got overwhelmed. Is it better to play without the extra maps as a new player? Seems like it would be. I just hit a point where everyone in my city seemed happy but I was losing money. Read a bit and about to try again on a new save. [link] [comments] |
