Thoughts on Anno 2205? Thinking of giving it another shot.

    Posted: 15 Apr 2021 08:05 AM PDT

I for one felt that Anno 2205 didn't have the same feel to the older Anno games due to a lack of Inter-Island and Inter-World logistics. Goods were just available on any island regardless of where it was being made (within the same session). Anno 1800 fixed this, obviously. Also, world's were set, not randomly generated, reducing replayability.

But what did you guys think of the time period? For me, the future being explored was awesome, with your main mission to try and successfully set up a fusion reactor on the moon as a source of renewable power for Mankind. It was super inspiring and exciting.

The game didn't feel tacky like some sci fi offerings feel to me. It just came across as wonderous and forward-thinking. With the orbit DLC, seeing rockets be sent up at regular intervals with your astronaughts on them simply added to the wonder-factor.

What does everyone else thing of the game, and would you buy a Futuristic Anno if it kept the logistics of Anno 1800 and had a similar amount of content/future DLC? I know I'd throw my wallet as soon as caught wind of another Futuristic Anno xD

Can I use one schooner to transport different goods each way?

    Hi,

I'd like to setup a route that takes sauseges and chlothing from A to B, and fur and coal from B to A. I make a setup like this for a chooner (with two slots which should be enough), but the game tells me that the ship is missing slots, and the route does not work in practice. The ship arrives at A, unloads and doesn't load anything (even when I tell it to wait until loaded). Am I missing something?

    Anno: The Settlers (2019)

    Posted: 15 Apr 2021 06:44 AM PDT

Blue Byte is developing the Settlers reboot which was targeted for a 2019 release date. It was then pushed back and all pre orders were returned. No word on it since then.

Could we, as the community, I include myself in this, since we are constantly purchasing everything this amazing dev team releases for 1800, be the sole factor to why The Settlers has been delayed for so long?

The success of 1800 is probably beyond what Ubisoft predicted and is keeping the Settlers on back burner and continued, polishing development for it and release it when this game loses steam?

    Possible Wild West cosmetic DLC?

I was wondering if there could be a new DLC to transform farmer houses and districts into North American Wild West towns?

Discussion time: What do you prioritise more when it comes to Trade Union Buffs?

Discussion time: What do you prioritise more when it comes to Trade Union Buffs?

As the title says; What do you prioritise when it comes to the Trade Union buffs on production buildings. Do you lean more towards productivity bonuses, workforce reductions, using items to power builldings within range so a power station isn't required, or by- products perhaps? Obviously different situations call for different items, but I wanted to know what everyone values most and why. Happy Discussing :)
